Plays Well With Others...
E-mail me at: longhorntwice -at- hotmail -dot- com... All writings and photographs on this blog are my work. Give credit where credit is due. It's a real difference between the Sorkin-esque "I'll tell stories that were topical during the Clinton administration" and the Wells "Let's tell stories ripped from the headlines because it works for Law and Order" method.
I'm not as big a fan of this current incarnation of the West Wing as I was the first four years, but it's been... well... it's been alright. I find the leak story full of holes (Did they ever actually publically admit there was a military space shuttle? They never said. If Toby just informed Greg Brock of the military space shuttle based on the rumors he'd heard and his brother bragging a little bit, it is hardly proof of a tresaonous leak, because he didn't know the information for a fact and he didn't know it to be classified. If it is based on what CJ asked him (about if his brother had ever hinted), then that isn't fact either because CJ, at the time, didn't know if a military space shuttle existed either.
That being said, I think there is the possibility that Toby wasn't the leaker, and he's covering. (Which is why CJ called Leo, why the President was so stern with him in front of Babish, why Babish seemed to not be buying any of it, etc).
I could go on and on. This show is interesting, but it is in a much different way than the old show was.
