My office sounds like the inside of a robot today. Beep, Beep, Beep....bzzzzz, bzzzzz, bzzzz...creaaak, creaaaak, creaaaaaaak....
They are still, STILL expanding the road in front of my office, and those stupid construction trucks beep CONSTANTLY through my single-paned, tiny little window.
I also have a ballast going in one of my overhead grid-covered florescent lights, and it is buzzing like it has 10,000 bees inside.
And to top all of that off, this is the weather forcast*:
That means LOTS of wind. So much wind in fact, that I heard on the news this morning that flights going into and out of DFW Airport could have 6-7 hour delays!! Ouch. That wind also likes to play with my building's roof, which seems to have a layer of metal right over my office. When the wind whips around it, it rattles the roof over my office like that scene in
Twister when everyone is in the storm shelter on the farm and the door is about to blow off.
Maybe my robot office will see it fit to do some of my work for me...
*Isn't it weird what colors the weather forcast showed up in? That blue arrow is supposed to be red...and a teal sun? I don't think the people at weather.com are that creative!
