NaNoWriMo

I am writing a book. Anyone want to join me? 30 days, 50,000 words. November is National Novel Writing Month and I have signed up. AND, my favorite professor from UT is going to join me! How cool is that? I wrote her to let her know about it because I thought she might want to tell her students. The whole concept sounds like something she would have given us as an assignment. Well, low and behold, she wrote back, and wants to do it! This is the professor who suggested I go try to get into the creative sequence, and this is the professor that suggested I stay for my Master's. She was always an inspiration to me. The type of woman I wanted to grow up to be. So having her do this along side me will be the best motivation I could have hoped for. Plus, I can't let down my professor, now can I!?

I would love it if some of you wanted to join me as well! We could meet for Write-ins and bug each other about our word counts, it could be a ton of fun!
