Supermarket Sushi
For two years now, I have bought sushi from my supermarket. I was never concerned because I had found the health department rating for the sushi department of my store. It was a 99. But alas, that was about a year and a half ago that I found that information, and times, they are a changin'.

Yesterday morning at 1am, I woke up thinking I was going to puke. A million things were running through my head. Had I gotten drunk and not realized it? No, hadn't had a thing to drink. Maybe I had been Sleep Drinking...No, no...Had I taken vitamins on an empty stomach again? Nope. Pregnant?? Thank God, No, and isn't it called morning sickness because it generally occurs in the morning (when the sun is out) anyway?

All those possibilities cleared away, I was left with one nagging thought...sushi...So I sat myself down at the toilet, and waited. And sure enough, there came the sushi. And salad. And then 15 minutes later, there it came again. And 15 minutes after that. Then half and hour later. Then half an hour after that. By 6am I thought I was going to die. And let me remind you that food poisoning doesn't affect just one end...Oh no, I went through three rolls of toilet paper by noon Wednesday. And not any of that single roll nonsense...we are talking triple rolls! I mean, my God! I can't believe my toilet survived!

For some reason, I got the idea to measure my waist yesterday. I was so cleaned out, it was an entire inch smaller! Now, that's what I call a diet! ;-)

So until today at lunch I essentially hadn't had anything to eat for 48 hours. Just some chicken broth and crackers. I am starting to feel better, but I boy am I exhausted! And my stomach muscles, back muscles, neck muscles and my throat are all sore. What a way to spend a day. Yuck.
