Plays Well With Others...
One of the downsides to working from home - I am my own system admin and facilities department...it's amazing how savvy I am in the way of techdork things now.
Not that you're a techdork or anything...
I *heart* calling India for tech support. The people are always pleasant and friendly, but things take about 50 times as long as they should. Mostly because they tend to say things like "I am thanking you very much for providing me with that valuable piece of information, Mr. Sack. And thank you for allowing me to call you Mr. Sack, Mr. Sack. Now, it would be very useful to me if..." at the end of every sentence.
I would take being a Techdork as a compliment, Stacy...I have learned SO much in the last year. It's amazing what I can fix now. We have a guy we can call, but in the interest of time, I usually give it my best go first.
Lol, yes Sack, I heard those very sentences about 80 times...
Ty, Good to see you back. I thought that you had written your best piece ever, "From the Desk of Luka and Brody" and decided to retire.
The interesting thing is, my company now has a top of the line offshore service, where the support attendant attempts to match your regional accent. Indian + John Wayne= Halfway amusing (if you aren't too pissed off.)
lol JG, that's awesome. I would love to hear that sometime. (just thought of something...i would love to hear Sack's version of an Indian + John Wayne accent...i bet that would be a riot...)
