Plays Well With Others...
E-mail me at: longhorntwice -at- hotmail -dot- com... All writings and photographs on this blog are my work. Give credit where credit is due.1) Your gran's cousins have no clue what they are talking about. They showed up 2 months into the process, have no medical expertise, and are not particularly close to your grandma (ever see a pic of one of them or a heard a story?). My guess is Julia keeps saying she wants to go home, and they aren't strong enough to handle telling her no, despite that it is for her own good. They might think they know what is best, but all the docs seem to disagree. Nor have they considered her finances or any other issues. Like Naomi, they are, how shall I put it, incompotent and pushy. I met one, barbara, and lets just say I wouldnt want my health in her hands, and she herself told me her twin sister (who's there now) is worse (pushier).
2)slowly your gran's been getting better. The real doctor's think there is a good chance for a full recovery. With a little luck, you'll have plenty of time to hear more stories...
3) later this week ill be in NY and visit her for a few days. Im just waiting for the antibiotics to get a few more days in me, so i am not dangerous to Julia. Ill talk to the Nursing home and show them how much progress she has made. And ill make sure they are doing her bowel routine, which is huge for her mental health (she feels extra crappy and out of it when it is not taken care of, and i doubt it is, even at the hospital i had to stand there every day and tell them to do it, cause on their oen they didnt).
