Ty *HEARTS* Photography!
I have a couple photo shoots coming up, so I am finally getting around to making
Moo Cards to use as business cards. So to do that, I uploaded my favorite portraits from the lasts few months to use on the front of the cards. I think it will work out to about 2 cards of each picture, which will be a lot of fun when I hand someone four or five cards to give to friends. Each card will have a different picture, which I just love the idea of.
I thought you all might want to see the photos I chose, so
here is a link to the photo set on Flickr.
Also, if you particularly like one pose or another, let me know on the Flickr comments. I would love to know which poses strike a cord with people for future photo shoots.

More Pictures!
Are you guys tired of seeing random baby pictures yet? Hope not!
I did another photo shoot last night for a friend of a friend who has a newborn. Newborns are so wrinkley and cute! And this one snorts! SO adorable!

Tidbits
Only one more NaBloPoMo post left after today! I am thinking of getting
these made. How cool are they? Wouldn't it be perfect for my new side career as a photographer? Hand them out to customers and give them three or four to pass on, but they would all have a different image on them...That would be awesome!

I'm Gettin' Better...
I did my first paid photo shoot today! My friend Lindsay asked me to do Christmas pictures for her family, and her friend's family. We set up a mini studio in Lindsay's house and took some adorable pictures of the babies and their families. Here are a couple of my favorites...

HGTV
As promised, I have
posted a few pictures of the television shoot to my Flickr account...Unfortunately, since I was in most of the shots taken inside the house, most of these pictures are from the part that was shot outside, but at least it gives you a small idea of what went on. The four people in the photos are Cameron (the guy in the suit/real estate agent), Amy (the only girl, and the producer), Sandy (the camera guy) and Michael (the sound guy).
Most of the day was spent in some form of waiting. We seemed to always be waiting for something to be set up, or something to be shot, or reshot, or debated. It's just like you hear, you hurry up and wait. There is a lot of sitting, but it is in such small chunks, only a few minutes at a time, that you can't do anything else, but wait.
I had fun doing the show, but I think it would be a lot more fun to do a show that is interactive, like say, Trading Spaces or While You Were Out. It seems like there would be less down time...

As Promised...
Here is a picture of the pumpkin I carved! I think it came out really well!
When I got home from work yesterday though, I noticed it had a small problem...The squirrels had eaten one of the eyes!! There is now a large gaping hole in one of the eyes! Those squirrels crack me up...

The State Fair
Saturday I went to the Texas State Fair for the first time. I have been before to watch The Texas/OU game but we never gave more than a cursory look at the fair because we had football to watch, and quite honestly, football will always beat a fried Snickers bar on a stick!
But Saturday I went with The Architect. We had a blast! I tried the Fried Mac and Cheese (which was actually pretty decent) and The Architect FINALLY found a Corny Dog for himself (they were in seriously short supply for a fair!!) and we rode rides and looked at crafts (which have suspiciously been taken over by Asian importers hocking cheap sunglasses and tacky purses) and wandered through the car show (which had far too few concept cars!!)
The architect even indulged my inner photographer and let me snap away. I posted the best pics on flickr...Take a look by clicking on the picture below (and try to view them in their larger forms...many of them are much better that way). P.S. To view them in order, view the State Fair Set instead of just my photo stream...
